I really enjoyed listening to this 2-hour-roundtable-talk/discussion of 2007, between Ned Block, Richard Haier, Joseph LeDoux, Patrick McGrath, Craig Piers and Gianfranco Basti.
I found it somewhat hard to listen to (and to follow) Giancarlo Basti, whom I nevertheless regard as an important contributor in this discussion, as he mentioned the idea of “information”, which he considers indispensable with regard to brain research. According to him, consciousness is not in the body, but between two interacting people (“the brain is in the mind”) – see somewhere at 1:35:00.
